Blastulation

Blastulation is the developmental period when the morula begins to take fluid in to form small cavities. As these cavities increase in volume, the blastocyst expands and the two cells lines (the inner cell mass and the trophectoderm) become distinguishable.

This usually occurs on day 5-6 and once the blastocyst is formed, it can be graded ready for transfer or cryopreservation 🔬💕

Keep following to see more laboratory videos and share with anyone undergoing fertility treatment who might benefit from watching them.
